What happened to September?

September went past in the blink of an eye.

I just realised I haven’t done a blog post for September either!  Here goes my plan to write a blog post every month.

My excuse is that I was busy most of September . The first week I was on a silent retreat. A time to slow down and come back to myself. I didn’t have any great epiphanies, but since coming back I do notice more space and a slower pace internally. I feel more grounded and settled.

Being in a quiet place with beautiful trees and near a river helps. I enjoyed walking in nature and catching the autumn sunshine in the breaks.

Directly after this week I travelled to Germany for a 5 day NARM training. The topic was shame and guilt. Not a light hearted topic, I admit, but I had a great time hanging out with fellow participants and wandering around the parks.

I also took in the teachings of course – there is always something that lands deeper or makes more sense. So it felt like a good mix of learning and relaxing.

The day I came home I went straight into assisting on a NARM training. It was quite an immersion for 10 days total, but I enjoyed this too. The team is fantastic and the students are lapping up the teachings and running with it. This is so inspiring. I feel blessed to be a part of this.

In between the travelling and trainings I also saw my clients, which I enjoy.

By the end of all this September was nearly over.

And now we are in October and I am wondering where the time went.

Sometimes everything just happens at once and this is how September went for me this year.

It was a wonderful time for immersing myself, slowing down, learning and connecting with others.

So perhaps I can let go of the idea that I should have written a blog post this month.

Although, I’ll try again next month.
