NARM TRAUMA THERAPY

Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed and always on high alert, especially in your relationships? Would you like to feel at ease, able to cope and resilient?

Using the NARM model, I will help you uncover the internal dilemmas and patterns that keep you stuck, and gently guide you towards deeper self-awareness and healing.

About NARM – The NeuroAffective Relational Model

NARM is a therapeutic approach that helps us understand how our early relationships and experiences shaped the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world today.

Rather than focusing on the past in detail, NARM gently brings attention to the present moment—what you’re feeling in your body, how you respond to others, and how you see yourself in the world. It helps uncover and unwind old patterns that were once necessary for survival but may now be getting in the way of connection, freedom, and resilience.

How NARM Can Support You

  • Helps build emotional resilience so you can respond to life’s challenges with more choice and less overwhelm.
  • Strengthens your connection to yourself and others—with more clarity, presence, and compassion.
  • Supports emotional processing, allowing space for feelings that may have been pushed down or left unresolved.
  • Brings awareness to unconscious patterns, making space for new ways of being.
  • Regulates the nervous system, helping you feel more grounded, calm, and connected.

The NARM Perspective

In NARM, we see symptoms not as problems to be fixed, but as intelligent responses to earlier experiences. These patterns helped you survive—but now, you may want a more fulfilling life.

We focus on what’s already right and whole in you—your natural capacity for connection, aliveness, and healing.

This work is gentle, non-pathologising, and rooted in curiosity—not diagnosis. We don’t dig into the past or analyse your history. Instead, we stay close to what’s happening in the here and now, helping you reconnect with your inner resources.

What Sessions Look Like

NARM sessions are collaborative. We slow things down and tune into your present experience—what you’re feeling, what your body is telling you, and what matters to you in that moment.

I might ask questions like:

  • “What are you noticing right now?”
  • “What happens when you bring attention to that?”

This kind of mindful attention helps bring unconscious patterns into awareness, so they can begin to shift.

If you’re ready to explore a more connected, grounded, and fulfilling way of being, I’d love to support you on your journey.
